Gujarat BJP president CR Paatil, who won with a record margin of over 7 lakh votes from Navsari Lok Sabha seat of Gujarat, is now inducted into the union cabinet.
CR Paatil was sworn in as a cabinet minister in the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has been given the charge of the Ministry of Jal Shakti today.
Mansukh Mandaviya, who won from Porbandar Lok Sabha seat and earlier held Health Portfolio, is now made a cabinet-rank Minister of Labour and Employment; and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports.
First time MP Nimuben Bambhaniya of Bhavnagar seat of Gujarat has been made the Minister of State in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
