Though Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ended the VIP culture of putting flash lights on official government vehicles, it seems that letting go such VIP culture is too hard for some government officials.
In a video that went viral, alert policemen in Uttar Pradesh asked a car owner to stop his vehicle upon finding that despite being a private vehicle, that man had put red-blue flashing lights on top of his car and kept it on during his night journey.
When confronted, the man said his name is Arsalan and he is Naib (deputy) Tehsildar in Mihinpurwa town of UP. The police asked him if he is authorised to use such VIP lights, he gave a lame excuse that he has installed the lights because he frequently visits the High Court (and such lights helps).
The policemen was in no mood to spare him. When Arsalan admitted to his mistake said he will remove the lights, the policeman said a challan will be issued because such things are not allowed in UP.
